Listed below are the initial Katas (Kihon Kata, Heian Shodan to Godan and Tekki-Shodan to Gojyushiho-Dai). Each Kata needs to be performed [correctly] in order to grade to that belt color (i.e. you’ll be performing Kion Kata during your grading in order to grade from a white belt to an orange belt).
